Melissa
Stylist - Entry Level

Since the age of five, Melissa Miller has dreamed of working in the beauty industry. She went from cutting the hair off her Barbie dolls, to a creative entrepreneur within one of the top four salons and spas in Canada. She has been in the industry for five years and after spending a year expanding her education with Mike Chammoury, owner of Edges, she is ready to take the hairstyling world by storm.

Melissa brings a unique, exciting and edgy personality to Edges. She is inspired by the look of 40's pin-up girls and the stylish bold looks of today. Further education and new techniques are a top priority, as she wants to ensure she gives her clients the best possible service she can. She has been involved in many product knowledge, cutting and color classes within Edges and hopes to travel for further, more extensive education.

Competitions are also something that Melissa enjoys to test her skills and take her knowledge to new heights, and she recently was a semi-finalist in Redken's 2009 Cover Competition and hopes to make it to finals.
